Covherlab: mod meets modern minimalism

The ‘Morsecode Signals’ spring 2012 lookbook by Marco Grisola isn’t the first time Italian brand Covherlab has tapped into the minimalist aesthetic. However this season sources inspiration from the sixties as much as it does from exiguous design. Each look is shot in two different ways, contrasting mood and gentle narrative with a direct, haltingly stagnant examination of the clothes.
The clothes hold up in both images, which makes sense, considering that the pieces themselves are incredibly wearable. The clean lines, easy draping and focus on monochromatic or color blocked pieces make certain that any one of them could easily serve as a wardrobe staple.
